Jewish Wedding Band Hertfordshire | DJ Live Entertainment for Herts Weddings — Stylus Live

Jewish Wedding Band Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire has one of the largest Jewish communities outside of London. Borehamwood, Radlett, Bushey, Elstree and the wider St Albans area are home to thousands of Jewish families, and this county hosts some of the most beautiful Jewish weddings we have ever had the privilege of being part of.

Stylus Live is one of Hertfordshire's most booked Jewish wedding bands, and for good reason. We are a DJ Live act, which means we bring the best of both worlds. A DJ who reads the room and keeps the energy flowing. Live musicians and vocalists who bring the goosebumps. And a team that understands the rhythm of a Jewish wedding, from the quieter, emotional moments of the Chuppah ceremony through to the Hora, the chair lifting, and the party that follows.

Understanding How a Jewish Wedding Flows

A Jewish wedding has a specific shape to it, and we know it inside out. The Chuppah ceremony is intimate and meaningful. The processional music, the seven blessings, the breaking of the glass. Our live musicians perform throughout, typically a vocalist paired with keys and violin or saxophone, setting the tone with pieces like Im Eshkachech Yerushalayim and Mi Adir.

Then the energy shifts. The Israeli dancing and Hora are one of the most electric moments of any wedding. Hava Nagila, Od Yishama, Siman Tov. Guests lifting the couple on chairs. This is where our DJ Live format really shines. Jon mixes the traditional melodies with house and electronic beats underneath, creating a Hora experience that feels both traditional and completely fresh. It is our signature, and it brings the roof down every time.

From there, dinner entertainment. Our roaming musicians weave between tables, performing acoustic versions of classic songs that get people singing along between courses. It is relaxed, personal, and always gets a reaction.

Then the evening party. This is where we turn up the volume. Chart hits, classic pop, R&B, disco, dance anthems. Whatever your crowd loves. Our vocalists command the stage, the sax player riffs over the top of tracks, the percussionist drives the beat. The dance floor does not empty.

Hertfordshire Venues for Jewish Weddings

Sopwell House, St Albans

A perennial favourite for Jewish weddings in Herts. The Georgian country house setting feels elegant without being stiff, and the function rooms accommodate everything from 80 to 200 guests comfortably. Just 30 minutes from North London, which makes it convenient for families in Barnet and Finchley.

Offley Place, Great Offley

The Hester Ballroom accommodates up to 300 guests for religious ceremonies. As a dry-hire venue, couples have full control over their suppliers, which works well for families who want to bring in their own kosher caterer.

The London Shenley Club, Borehamwood

Right in the heart of the Hertfordshire Jewish community. The modern ballroom seats 250 with no pillars obstructing sightlines, which is essential for the Hora. The clear floor space makes it one of the best venues in the county for Israeli dancing.

Aubrey Park, Hemel Hempstead

A woodland setting with indoor and outdoor space. Aubrey Park has become increasingly popular for Jewish weddings that want a slightly more relaxed, country feel while remaining close to the M1 corridor.

Pendley Manor, Tring

A Grade II listed manor set in 35 acres of forest. Beautiful grounds, grand interiors, and a peaceful setting that feels a world away from London despite being just 40 minutes up the M1.

Our Jewish Wedding Experience

We have performed at Jewish weddings across Hertfordshire and London for years. We work closely with event planners like Goodnight Events and other leading planners in the Jewish events space. We understand the timings, the customs, and the small details that matter. Whether the family is Orthodox, Reform, Liberal or somewhere in between, we shape the entertainment around their preferences.

Our roster includes a religious singer for the ceremony who can be paired with keys and violin or sax. This is available as an add-on to any of our packages, starting from £1,500 plus VAT.
