Wedding Band Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire is one of the counties we know best. From the grand Georgian rooms of Sopwell House in St Albans to the chandelier-lit Hester Ballroom at Offley Place near Hitchin, and the sweeping parkland of Hatfield House, Herts has some of the finest wedding venues within half an hour of London. We have played dozens of weddings across the county, and every single one has been different. That is sort of the point.
Why Stylus Live for your Hertfordshire wedding?
Stylus Live is a DJ Live act. That means a DJ at the centre, reading the room and mixing tracks in real time, surrounded by live musicians and vocalists who bring the energy that a DJ on their own simply cannot deliver. The lineup is completely customisable. You might want a DJ with a saxophonist and two vocalists for a more intimate Berkhamsted celebration. You might want the full twelve-piece showband with horn section, keys, bass, percussion and five singers for a 250-guest wedding at Fanhams Hall. You tell us the vibe. We build the band around it.
We don't play the same set at every wedding. Before your day, our Musical Director Jon Stone will have a proper conversation with you about what music matters to you. What gets your friends moving. What your parents will love. What songs mean something to the two of you. Then we build a playlist around those answers. This is not a function band turning up with a setlist printed on A4 paper.
Hertfordshire Wedding Venues We Love
A gorgeous Georgian country house with twelve acres of grounds. The function rooms here have high ceilings and plenty of space for a full band setup. The Cottonmill Spa means guests can make a weekend of it, which they usually do. Sopwell is especially popular with couples from the local Jewish community in St Albans and Radlett.
Tucked away down a long drive in the village of Great Offley, just outside Hitchin. The Hester Ballroom is purpose-built for celebrations, with space for 250 seated guests, incredible chandeliers, and a proper dance floor area. Offley is a dry-hire venue, so you choose all your own suppliers, which means you get to pick us rather than being given a house band.
One of the most impressive stately homes in England. If you are looking for a venue that genuinely takes people's breath away when they walk in, this is the one. The marble hall, the long gallery, the Jacobean architecture. It demands a performance to match, and that is exactly what we provide.
Set in over 5,000 acres of National Trust parkland, Ashridge has a fairy-tale quality about it. Gothic architecture, beautiful grounds, and the Monks Barn for more rustic celebrations. We have played here in both the main house and the barn, and the acoustics in both are excellent.
A Grade I listed Elizabethan house with elegant interiors. Popular for grand celebrations. The main hall has high ceilings and original features that create a stunning setting for a full showband performance.
A striking Queen Anne mansion house set in 22 acres. The sweeping driveway, white columns and classic proportions make this a beautiful venue for photos and a special evening party.
The London Shenley Club, Borehamwood
A modern ballroom with space for 250 guests, clear sightlines (no pillars), and panoramic views. Very popular for Jewish weddings and Bar Mitzvahs. The clear floor space is ideal for hora dancing.
A Jacobean manor house with a beautiful combination of period features and modern function spaces. The hall can be taken over exclusively for your wedding, and it has plenty of on-site accommodation for guests staying the night.
Our Hertfordshire Setup
We bring our own sound engineer and full PA system to every Hertfordshire wedding. Our team arrives with plenty of time to set up and sound-check before guests arrive. We have experience working within the noise restrictions at all the major Herts venues. If your venue has specific power or volume requirements, we will sort it in advance so there are no surprises on the day.
