DJ Live Entertainment at The Landmark London Bat Mitzvah
This weekend we took over the ballroom of iconic London hotel The Landmark for Carrie’s Bat Mitzvah. Her parents had found Stylus Live on instagram and got in touch requesting that we do something really special for Carrie’s big night.
We provided a sensational DJ Live line up for the Bat Mitzvah consisting of 5 vocalists, guitar, keys, percussion, saxophone and trumpet, all centred around our DJ.
The night started on a high as Carrie and her friends blew everyone away with a fully choreographed dance routine to Sophie Ellis Bextor’s Murder on the Dance Floor.
Israeli Dancing
With guests already on the dance floor, Stylus Live kicked off the Israeli and Jewish dancing set. The crowd loved our unique take on these tracks, accompanied by our amazing live musicians and vocalists singing in Hebrew.
The Dinner Set
Then it was time for dinner. Guests ate beef and drank champagne as the Stylus Live team entertained them with an interactive acoustic roaming set, some of them couldn’t resist getting up to dance.
The set ended with napkins waving and people standing on their chairs - the energy was amazing.
As our roaming band finished up the dinner set, they seamlessly transitioned into a 90s pop set to get guests back onto the dance floor. Our vocalist Grace delivered a flawless rendition of Natasha Bedingfield’s banger Unwritten - this had the whole ballroom singing along.
The Party
Before the full band party set began, Carrie and her family had one final surprise for their guests, which they had asked us to help facilitate. They rewrote the words of Sweet Caroline into a personalised anthem renamed “Sweet Carrie Lyons” and asked us to lead guests through a karaoke-style sing-along, projected onto screens throughout the ballroom. It went down an absolute storm! As the night continued it was time to take the Bat Mitzvah party to the next level. Stylus Live did what we do best - our signature DJ Live showband set was packed with party tunes ranging from Chic to Sean Paul and everything in between.
