Luxury Jewish Wedding at Wilderness Reserve
This weekend the Stylus Live team took a trip to the amazing Wilderness Reserve estate in Suffolk to perform at the wedding of Romy and Michael.
Romy is from New York City and Michael is from Liverpool. The couple had over 100 guests travelling from all around the US and UK to celebrate with them - so we knew this was going to be one of the most fun weddings we’d ever played at!
The couple had a very niche music taste - they told us they didn’t want any cheesy wedding tunes, instead requesting disco and house music. As we always say, the great thing about booking a DJ Live act like Stylus Live is we can create a bespoke entertainment package for every single client. Our DJ can play any track, and our versatile singers have a huge repertoire. We always have a call with our clients before an event where we get to know them and understand their taste in music - we think of it like a personality test!
6-Piece DJ Live
For this Jewish wedding, we provided a 6-piece DJ Live line-up consisting of 3 vocalists (2 female, 1 male), saxophone and percussion centred around our DJ.
The band hit the stage following a lively Israeli dancing set, speeches, and a stunning dinner set up where guests dined at banquet-style tables.
Our singer Greg got the party started with his smooth renditions of Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder classics. The dance floor filled up quickly as Grace smashed out some Aretha Franklin and then transitioned into some 90s pop (which never gets old). Laura followed with big house tunes the couple had requested like “I Follow Rivers” and the dance floor went off!
The energy was absolutely amazing throughout the whole evening. The band finished around 1am and our DJ continued the party until 3am. Thanks for having us, Romy and Michael, this was an unforgettable wedding party in such a unique venue!
